Here it is, the debut EP by GLAS NOST aka unheralded punk genius Vincent Buchanan-Simpson, aka the man behind projects like EUGH, Terrible Signal and Hideous Sun Demon, and the synth wizard heard in Kitchen People and Dream Rimmy.

All that bullshit aside, GLAS NOST stands as some of his most accomplished work to date. WELTSCHMERZ is a brilliant example of Vincent's ability to draw on a multitude of influences and styles whilst maintaining a consistent identity and never sounding muddled.

In just 4 tracks and 13 minutes this EP manages to evoke sounds reminiscent of The Fall, DEVO, Talking Heads, Low Life, Viagra Boys, Sleaford Mods, DIAT, Powerplant and probably a bunch of other cool things too. Basically, its diverse but constantly engaging, the songwriting is tight and and impressive, and it's a very strong release that builds upon Vincent's already formidable discography.
